Pathway ride to Veterans Memorial
From $115.00 / Per Person
Looking for the ultimate adventure on Hilton Head Island? Join us for the ride of a lifetime as we roll along the trails of The Coastal Discovery Museum and explore the beauty and history of Honey Horn. Then off to Jarvis Creek Park to “hunt” for alligators and various native birds. This tour is fun for all ages and especially high on the list of things to do with grandkids and an activity for teens.
Our Ultimate Tour is a combination of a tranquil, relaxed-pace ride at the pristine 70-acre nature preserve followed by a faster paced Alligator Hunt. Begin with a relaxed-paced, stop and go, narrated tour including riding the boardwalk over the salt marsh to see and learn about the tidal change.
Wind through secluded Live-Oaks draped in Spanish Moss and one of the top Camellia Gardens in the country with 131 varieties on display. Also learn about and see an endangered Marsh Tacky Horse, Butterfly House and many other amazing sites. Followed by a faster paced ride around a lake where some of the largest gators are often spotted along with egret, herons, cormorant, anhinga and other area birds. Great for all ages.
Wear comfortable attire for the weather. In cooler weather, a jacket and long pants will help. In warmer weather, lighter clothes will keep you from getting too hot, but beware of sun exposure. Wear sunscreen. Wear sunglasses if needed. A helmet is provided, or you can bring your own. Helmets are sanitized after each use. Closed-toes shoes will help keep you from stubbing your toes if you have to dismount your Segway suddenly, but are not required.
Bring your camera or cell phone camera. Disposable rain ponchos are provided. A hard-cased bag is attached to your Segway to hold a small purse, jacket, beverage, cell phone and other small items.
